Qatar Cancer Society ‘QCS’ has launched ‘Electronic collection system in 21 collection sites in most regions of the country, to make the donation easier, especially as it is one of the most important ways to treat patients who are unable to afford the expensive treatment, in addition to Support programs which aims to spread awareness of cancer.’

Mariam Al Noaimi – General   Manager – said ‘launch of the electronic collection system came in the belief in the importance of harnessing modern technology to serve the donors and save time and effort, she stressed the importance of the donation in financially and morally support cancer patients and fighting cancer, calling all parties to join hands to raise awareness of the disease and contribute to patient’s treatment.’

In addition, some collection sites have been provided with screens to display awareness videos about cancer and promote early detection, the next period will also include the dissemination of this experiment to all collection sites. she added. She noted on Collection sites include several projects licensed by Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities Which is the treatment of cancer patients under license No. 6/2017, and cancer awareness programs under license No. 7/2017. In conjunction with the launch of the electronic collection system, a course was organized to develop the skills of Cancer Awareness Promoter, they were trained in the various marketing methods for collection, as well as all the cultural aspects and awareness of cancer.
