The Qatar Olympic Academy  (QOA) is organizing  a one-day symposium titled “ Sports Law and its impact on the contracts and sport disputes) at  the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Headquarters on Tuesday. The one-day symposium comes in the frame of  QOA  training plan for the year 2013-2014, bringing together Assistant-Secretaries General, Heads and board members of local  sport federations and clubs along with the  technical experts.

Dr. Ali Abdulrahman Al Bekri, the Head  of QOA Unit outlined that the symposium aimed at preparing qualified- Qatari administrative and technical cadres in the sport field , able to have effective contribution in the upcoming regional and international sport events hosted by the country.

According to Mr. Al Bekri, the symposium will focus on five topics, introduction on the sports law, intellectual property issues related to the sport affairs, mechanisms of  settling the sport disputes, mentality of professional players and  legal sport issues  ( sponsorship rights and sport facility management).
