The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at Qatar University (QU) signed yesterday an agreement with Vodafone Qatar, to establish cooperation in executive training and education and scientific research fields.

The agreement was signed by QU president Prof Sheikha Abdulla Al-Misnad and Vodafone Qatar CEO Kyle Whitehill, in the presence of CBE dean Dr Nitham Hindi as well as QU faculty and officials from both institutions. The terms of the agreement include collaboration in education and research areas, and mutual scientists and researchers exchanges for various instructional and training initiatives in business, finance and information technology areas. Both institutions will also organize joint conferences, seminars and workshops.

It also shows QU’s commitment to shape the future generation of experts and professionals by offering them high-quality academic programs and by equipping them with the skills, competencies and mindset needed for a successful career.” Mr Whitehill said: “It is a great honor to sign an agreement with Qatar University. This is in line with our aim to exchange best practices and experiences with the leading institutions in Qatar.”
