As a response to the directive of the Government of Qatar to suspend studies in all public and private schools and universities in the country as a measure to limit the spread of COVID-19, Stenden University Qatar has facilitated the delivery of virtual educational activities for all of its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The university is fully prepared to adopt this approach and the good quality of education and student support will be maintained.

Through the combined efforts of its dedicated staff, Stenden University Qatar is adopting a novel approach which ensures the continuity of the delivery of classes through the online teaching and learning facilities available to its students, who can use the university’s online portals at no additional cost. Lectures, workshops, presentations and other academic sessions, including supervision of internships and dissertations are now taking place online.

Stenden University Qatar acknowledges the fact that there might be some minor challenges associated with the transition from regular face to face to virtual classes but also sees this move as a necessary and important step to protect the health of its students, staff, and the wider community. While all face—to-face classes have been discontinued, the university remains open with all faculty and administrative staff continuing to work on campus and providing continuous support to students remotely. This shall be the arrangement at the university until further notice from the government authorities has been issued.
