UCL Qatar (University College London), one of the world’s leading multi-disciplinary universities, is to host an open evening on Tuesday 18th March for prospective students, existing applicants and members of the local community interested in learning more about its further education opportunities.

Doors will open from 6pm – 8pm at UCL Qatar, based on the 2nd Floor, Georgetown Building in Education City. Those attending will be able to hear presentations from UCL Qatar and UCL London academic staff about study opportunities from foundation programmes through to PhD level research. Visitors will also be able to ask questions via a question and answer panel and receive one to one application guidance. A tour of the UCL Qatar campus facilities and a reception will also be available, giving prospective students the opportunity to network with current staff and students from UCL.

UCL Qatar, created by UCL in partnership with Qatar Foundation and Qatar Museums Authority, is a leading centre of excellence for the study of cultural heritage in Qatar and the Gulf region, focusing on Master’s level study in the areas of museum studies, conservation, archeology and library studies. It is the first British university to open a campus in Doha and the open evening is an exciting opportunity to get a deeper understanding of the study opportunities available with this top 5 global university. Since August 2012, UCL Qatar has welcomed over 80 students from 33 countries. The third intake of students at UCL Qatar will be at the end of August 2014, and is expected to be the biggest class to date. Candidates can apply online now for admission, with an application deadline of 1st May.
