Great news for Vodafone Qatar customers.  Super Sundays promotion from Vodafone World Calling Club that allows international calls to anywhere in the world at just 55 Dirhams per minute has now become a permanent offer.

Super Sundays were scheduled to end on 31 December but customer response has been so positive that Vodafone will continue offering the best rates to stay in touch with home for many more Sundays to come.

“Super Sundays are hugely popular with our customers. Making the Super Sunday offer a permanent feature will now give our customers more reasons to stay closer to home, family and friends,” promises Vodafone Qatar Chief Marketing Officer Michael Portz,  “The future looks great at Vodafone, and we will keep on making a difference for all people in Qatar,” continued Michael Portz.

Vodafone also announced rate changes for calling some destinations within its World Calling Club.  Effective 5 January 2011, Vodafone will make a number of changes to its rate card.  International call rates  to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam will change from 69 Dirhams to 85 Dirhams per minute.  Calls to India will be charged at 75 Dirhams per minute. International calls to Morocco will change to QR1.50 per minute, while call rates to Turkey will be reduced from QR 1.50 to 95 Dirhams per minute.
