Vodafone Qatar marked the beloved tradition of Garangao, that’s marked on the 14th of Ramadan, with a host of activities that spread happiness to children.   

This comes as part of Vodafone’s “Shukran” campaign, meaning thank you in Arabic, which aims to spread positivity throughout the holy month of Ramadan in a bid to encourage the country to show their appreciation for everything and everyone in their lives. Sweets and nuts packaged by Vodafone employees and the Company’s Brand ambassador Ali bin Towar Al-Kuwari were handed out to children at Vodafone’s retail stores.

Vodafone Qatar also partnered with Qatar Charity to spread joy to children being treated at Hamad Medical Corporation’s hospitals. Vodafone Qatar’s Brand Ambassador, Ali Bin Towar Al-Kuwari, personally handed out the sweet bags and the event was attended by media personalities Asma Al Hamadi, Nadine Al Bitar and Eiman Al Kaabi. Moreover, Vodafone once again partnered with local coffee brands, Eleven Eleven and Empire Coffee, to hand out Garangao sweet bags to children enjoying Al-Duhail Night Market and Katara with their families
