Qatar's central bank sold 1 billion riyals ($275 million) of short-term Treasury bills in a monthly auction on Thursday with yields dropping from last month's 1.2 billion riyal sale, central bank data showed. The central bank sold 500 million riyals of three-month bills at a yield of 1.14 percent, compared to 950 million riyals of such bills at 1.44 percent last month. It sold 250 million riyals of six-month bills at 1.58 percent, compared to 200 million riyals at 1.69 percent, and 250 million riyals of nine-month bills at 1.74 percent, compared to 50 million riyals at 1.80 percent.
